I’ve just started working with my silicone bracelets website in the last couple days but was a bit surprised at the difficulties I’ve faced with this site. Unlike writing articles about online marketing trying to write articles about silicone bracelets is a bit boring. And social media sites are not near as effective when trying to market a real product verses marketing information, or rather how to make money online sites.

It’s really hard to compare writing about silicone wristbands or any real product with writing about making money online. I’ve fine tuned the website and worked with it over and over. I believe I’ve got a website that can convert a site visitor as good if not better than any other silicone wristband website online. The problem is getting that site visitor to the site. My first thought was in building a site large enough that it would rank for thousands and thousands of keywords and in return drive thousands of visitors back to the site. The first problem was in finding enough keywords to amount to anything and the second was in the fact that because the silicone wristbands industry was once a very popular industry ranking for those keywords will take a bit more work than I had first thought.
While I don’t mind putting in the extra work I’d rather not spend the next 3 months trying to rank for keywords to drive traffic back to the site. Which causes me to look into other avenues for driving that traffic, yes marketing a real product is nothing like talking about online marketing and in turn being able to make money.
